ABOUT FMRC

FMRC is a management consultancy that has been providing research, training and management advice to law firms throughout Australasia for the past 30 years.

The organisation is recognised as a major centre for training solicitors in legal practice management. We have introduced some 4,000 people to practical management methods and techniques. FMRC heralded productivity management methods, cash flow management techniques and partnership performance strategies that are now standard practice in progressive firms of all size.

We service the legal profession by providing practice management training for all levels within a firm and direct consulting on specific issues. In addition to training and consulting activities, FMRC has a research division that conducts a number of surveys of the profession annually.

The combination of our research capability and consulting activities enables us to provide empirical substantive advice rather than anecdotal theoretical advice. We act for law firms throughout Australasia, from major national firms to mid-sized, boutique and progressive small firms. In addition, we also serve a number of government departments and bodies.

Today we provide accountants and business advisers with business benchmarks for some 80 Australian industries.
